Telangana government earmarks Rs 400 crore for taking up the land survey
While it is estimated that Rs 600 crore would be needed for a complete survey government allocated Rs 400 crore. The balance will be released in the 2022-2023 fiscal.
For taking up an integrated and comprehensive land survey in the state, the government has earmarked Rs 400 crore in the upcoming financial year.
The revenue department has gathered information about how states such as AP, Orissa, Rajasthan, and Bihar are doing land surveys, especially regarding technology and cost.
“Based on this, we will provide exact latitude and longitude of lands in passbooks. Not only agricultural lands, but endowment, Wakf, forest, and other government land disputes will be resolved,” the government said.
