Mahindra Lifespaces Expands in North Bengaluru with ₹1,000 Cr Residential Project

Bengaluru, January 23, 2025 – Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd. (MLDL), through its subsidiary Anthurium Developers Ltd. (ADL), has acquired 8.2 acres in North Bengaluru, further strengthening its presence in the city’s booming real estate market. The project, set to offer mid-premium residential apartments, has a developable potential of 0.9 million sq. ft. and an estimated Gross Development Value (GDV) of ₹1,000 crore.

Why North Bengaluru?

Located off the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway, the site is close to the Kempegowda International Airport, IT hubs, and top commercial districts. With renowned schools, hospitals, retail centers, and the upcoming Doddajala metro station (1.8 km away), the area is an attractive hub for urban homebuyers.

Mahindra Lifespaces’ Vision

Amit Kumar Sinha, MD & CEO of Mahindra Lifespaces, stated,
“Bengaluru is a key market for us, and this will be our seventh project in the city. Given its connectivity and infrastructure, North Bengaluru is set to witness strong demand for premium homes.”

Launch Timeline

Mahindra Lifespaces plans to launch the project within nine months, focusing on sustainable and well-planned residential spaces, reinforcing its leadership in Bengaluru’s fast-growing real estate sector.

Union Budget 2025 Increases TDS Limit on Fixed Deposit Interest

The Union Budget 2025 introduces a significant relief for fixed deposit (FD) holders by increasing the TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) threshold on interest income. The limit has been raised to ₹50,000 for general citizens (up from ₹40,000) and ₹1 lakh for senior citizens (doubling from ₹50,000). Hyderabad's ORR Is Set To Get World Class Makeover.

Telangana government is modernising the present ORR with par excellent than developed countries .
